I'm going on holiday soon and have been warned that there are lots of jellyfish in the sea there. Is there anything i can use to protect myself as i would like to swim whilst away.Is there such a thing as jellyfish repellent?
Beleive it or not, yes there is. I assume you're going somewhere hot, as this stuff is sun tan lotion with jellyifsh repellent:

Um no. I was stung by a jellyfish once - it felt like a severe burn - three tentacle marks right across my neck - looked like someone had scratched me very badly. I was told it might have been the tentacle's of a dead sea wasp (I was in Oz) Not a good experience. Vinegar was used to make it feel better but it's not a repellent, such a thing doesn't exist I'm afraid.
nope, just keep an eye out and don't go in the water if there are high numbers of jelly fish that day you can find this out by asking a life guard,
if you get stung either piss on is or get hot water and ammonia on it asap it kills the stingers and lowers the discomfort
Malt Vinegar.
