Is it possible that an insect repellent can be used as a cologne?

would it be harmful to our skin?Is it possible that an insect repellent can be used as a cologne?
Hi there, don't do that , insecticides do get in to your body through your skin , and although they will not kill you the long term affects could,Is it possible that an insect repellent can be used as a cologne?
Well you can use as it a cologne if you really want to smell like that. Obviously it wont be harmful to the skin because it is designed to be put on the skin. Although if you did put in the same place everyday it may start to irratate so if you do want to use i would change the place you spray it every couple of days.

i am sure that it might be use as a cologne but have you smelled most of them they smell like **** and why would you want to do that?
Why would you? It smells disgusting. It may damage your skin if you use it too much, and it's definitely not friendly to your nose.
It would not be harmful to the skin only because it is made to put on our skin. But I don't think that you should use it as cologne because it's not a cologne! Sure, it'll help keep the bugs away, but people know what bugspray smells like, and if they find out that you use it everyday as cologne, people are going to start talking. Funny question:) Good luck..
Well if it's an insect repellent it can't be harmful to your skin because you have to put it onto your skin to repell the insects. In short you can use it as colonge but it might not smell very nice!
