You can get this really good roll on repellent called jungle formula. Its quite expensive but it works really well.
Any mosquito repellent should do, but I would recommend that you buy it when you arrive as the mosquitoes may not react to something from somewhere else.
Just got back last month. Buy any repellent that contains 'Deet'! Make sure you buy before leaving, it's very hard to find in Asia. While you can buy it most anywhere (in the U.S.), I found the best deal at Wal-mart in the hunting/sports section of the store.
Don't worry about packing the sun screen, that's easy to find there.
Condoms if your a guy...better safe than sorry!!
