Flea/ tick repellent safe to use on a dog in a home with a pregnant woman?

My sister is just under 5 months pregnant and needs to use flea/ tick repellent on her dog. She knows that she needs to avoid exposure/ contact with FrontLine to avoid birth defects, but does anyone know of a product she can use on her dog that won't cause problems for her and her unborn child?

(Please note: Of course, she will ultimately check the safety of any recommended product with her OB/GYN, but I was just wondering whether somebody could point us in the right direction.)

Thanks for your input!Flea/ tick repellent safe to use on a dog in a home with a pregnant woman?
Frontline is perfectly safe as long as SHE doesn't apply it. And it really is the best.Flea/ tick repellent safe to use on a dog in a home with a pregnant woman?
no-no-no, be safe, have sister to spend the day and night some place else, get the tick thing done plus clean up before she returns even if she has to stay in a hotel or parents home or yours, please do not have her to be around anything that might hurt her or child, Thank You.
there is pretty much nothing which is safe to use around a pregnant woman
