Do ';Deet'; insect repellent bands really work? Do they keep the mosquitoes from biting you?

I don't like putting insect repellant on my skin because I have allergic skin.Do ';Deet'; insect repellent bands really work? Do they keep the mosquitoes from biting you?
Yes those that use DEET really do keep the bugs from biting. They don't keep them from flying very close to your ears and eyes and basically ';bugging'; the heck out of you.

';OFF'; brand of products used to make a mosquito repellent lantern that actually did keep mosquitoes away from an area about 10' in diameter. I used two of them in a spot on ';Mosquito ridge'; in the Tahoe National Forest. They worked very well but as soon as you got 8' to 10' away from them, you had dozens of mosquitoes on every patch of bare skin!Do ';Deet'; insect repellent bands really work? a teaspoon in your bath water for your pets works for them too

The Skin So Soft works as well as any harsh chemical brand of bug repellent without the chemicals. It really works. No, I don't sell Avon. lol
