Fellow Gardeners--What is a good remedy/repellent for deer?

I have seen some evidence that a deer is grazing on my young green bean plants. What are some inexpensive home remedies for repelling them?





Also have noticed sizable white spots on the leaves of several different plants. It looks the same on the jalapeno and the beans and the okra. At first the spot just looks like part of the leaf is bleached--but within a day or two the leaf has completely withered. Was wondering if animal urine could cause that or is it something else? I have never seen this particular look on my vegetable plants before.Fellow Gardeners--What is a good remedy/repellent for deer?
You can purchase ';Big Cat'; (lion and tiger) manure from the garden centers. This practice was discovered in China and is just now catching on in the states. I've heard to hang bars of irish spring soap near your garden or grate it and spread it around your plants. You could also try human hair!!
I lived on a wheat ranch in WA state and every year when I planted my garden,I got a 5 gallon bucket of wheat and took it about 50 feet from my garden and poured it on the ground.The deer will go for the wheat every time! keep an eye on it so that you can put out more before it is all gone! human hair scattered around the out side of the garden will work too but it takes quite a bit,I was lucky to have a beautician as a neighbor/


The white spots on your plants: take a leaf with the white spots and a leaf that has withered to a plant and garden store,they will be able to identify the problem! Good Luck!
4 quarts water boiled with 1 tb. cayenne powder, 1 tsp. white pepper, 1 tb. red chilies (be careful doing this, it's rather toxic in the boiling process) 2 cups light vegetable oil A few drops of dishwashing detergent Strain before putting it in the sprayer. It mobilizes better if the water is warm when spraying.





spray on the bark and limbs of young trees and shrubs . Thats alll I know to do! It works on them I dont know about beans and okra? try one plant and see!
coyote urine to chase the deer off - you should probaly ask the salesperson at your nearest hunting/ trapping sore
One) Get a gun, stay up late, and if you spot one shoot.


Two) Buy a deer from someone and kill it and cut it up and spread it throughout your garden.


Three) Spray your plants with an environmentally friendly poision that kills anything that eats it. :)
