What is the best bug repellent for babies/children?

My one year old is allergic to mosquitoes. I am trying to find a good insect repellent that is not full of chemicals but still works, as when he gets bit they turn into baseballs. Any input is greatly appreciated!

i found a clip that you can put on your clothes(belt loop, cap, etc.) it repels bugs and doesn't go on the skin! so far so good. i have a 2 year old with sensitive skin and i hated using all the chemicals on her. the best deet free repellent was off sensitive. What is the best bug repellent for babies/children?
I haven't tried this yet but someone told be that Listerine mouthwash is a good mosquito repellent. Particularly used in a spray bottle to spray an area where you might be. The particular flavor doesn't seem to matter since they all seem to do the trick. Now whether or not this would be too harsh for a baby's skin I couldn't say but maybe worth looking into.
This weekend we tired using Listerine because i heard it keeps mosquitoes away. We just sprayed it on the patio and around the pool and we didn't have any problems. I didn't have to spray anything on my son. It actually worked. You should try it also. Just pour some into a spray bottle and spray on all the places where your little one will be playing. If you walk him in a stroller. Spray the stroller and you should be good! Hope this helps.
Isn't there some kind of clip.....
