You can put up the equivalent of a scarecrow. Buy some inexpensive pinwheels and stick them in the grass or go to a local birding shop and pick up a plastic predator like an owl to display. Alternatively, you can borrow a friend's dog for a few mornings in a row. Unlike a cat a dog isn't likely to decimate the population, only frighten the birds away.What is a natural bird repellent that I can put in grass?
if they are after bugs try seven dust also our two spastic cockers help a lot. they chase everything including the wind, crazy animals.
