What type of flea repellent should I get for my dogs?

I have a 2 dogs both of them have fleas really badly their even missing big patches of fur in some place's what type of flea repellent should I get them? What type of flea repellent should I get for my dogs?
Either Frontline or K9 Advantix from your Vet. OTC flea prevention is basically ineffective if you already have a bad infestation.

You should also have your house/yard treated quarterly by an exterminator. What type of flea repellent should I get for my dogs?
I've just switched both my dogs to Comfortis. One of them was allergic to Advantix and Frontline topical treatments. Neither product really worked on the other. Comfortis is the only Flea control product endorsed by the FDA.

I'm incredibly happy with the product. Both dogs were completely flea free within 4 hours of taking the pill. It has been three weeks and no fleas anywhere!! Also, no nasty side effects.
Go to your vet and get Advantage, it works great on flea infestations, it starts killing them in 8-12 hours, be sure not to bath them with in 48 hours of applying though.
I would ask your vet, if the hair is coming off the dog they may have sensitive skin. But what I use for my dogs is frontline its for fleas and ticks.
FRONTLINE you can get it from your Vet's or by phone or order it online 1-800-PET-MEDS. It works good for ticks too.
