What is the BEST Flea Repellent you can buy for a puppie?

I dont care about the price or anything like that. I have a 8 month old Maltese Puppie and he is my world. We have been using Avantage and only have one dose left to use. But for some reason they are not dying off. Help i want to go and take him to the vet to have him dipped but they tell me its a waist of money if he goes outside to use the bathroom.

Any help from people who know what REALLY works will be much appreciated. What is the BEST Flea Repellent you can buy for a puppie?
Frontline is the best.

Advantage, as you have experienced, doesnt work for all dogs.

frontline will kill all fleas, with eggs and ticks. you use it once a month, apply it to the back of its neck. its safe in pups over 8 weeks old.

if you begin using frontline and he still has fleas, then the problem is your house, not your dog.

Garlic does not kill flea eggs and is toxic to your dog - it could kill him, NEVER feed your dog garlic.

Ask your vet about some Frontline. It works well for me. To the other poster, garlic doesn't work. Either do most of the household and natural concoctions some people come up with.
Advantage or Frontline. If you have been using Advantage EVERY month and you still have fleas then you need to vacuum under ALL furniture, wash everything in HOT water, etc. Contact your for more helpful tips. Advantage is a great product and if used correctly it DOES work
we love our dogs too! we use a shampoo (Miessence Organics, which uses natural components such as aloe vera and lemon myrtle) and we also mix it with a few drops of tea tree oil which seems to help. Fleas hate tea tree oil. Our vet recommended Sentinel as a flea and heartworm control as one of our dogs developed side effects from using Advantage. Also wash their beddings regularly (once a week or fortnight), just like you would for yourself (change bedsheets once a week or fortnight)
Try garlic,
